BIOGRAPHY

Leslie Yang is a California native with a love for bright colors and bold accessories to wear and to share. She moved to the Bay Area for college, fell in love with the pace of life and its natural beauty and decided to call it home.

Leslie’s style combines her expertise in both graphic design and fiber arts. She aims to design jewelry and accessories that are clean in form, vivid in color, and always fun and functional to wear.

Feisty Elle started in fall 2005 out of a love for designing and producing women's jewelry and accessories and has evolved with a commitment to use sustainable materials such as merino wool felt, textiles, and bamboo ply. The woman that wears Feisty Elle jewelry EMBRACES bold colors and shapes, LOVES that earrings can be big and classy, and CHOOSES jewelry that is as versatile as she is.

Feisty Elle is the first to design and produce earrings made from lasercut merino wool felt and one of the first to produce jewelry out of this gorgeous, natural material. The lightness and soft nature of the felt have made them runaway hits in boutiques.

All jewelry and accessories are designed and assembled in San Francisco Bay Area.

An Ode to My Mom

My mom wouldn't let me pierce my earrings till I was sixteen, claiming I'd be too into buying earrings. After all these years, I have to admit that my mom was right. I love jewelry! I love how it can completely change, even reinvent, an outfit. I especially love EARRINGS; I won't leave the house till I've put on the right pair of earrings.

Mom didn't predict that one day I'd be designing and making jewelry out of sustainable resources but she knows what I like. And what do you know, she now rocks my earrings and other accessories. Like mother, like daughter.
